Electric drives make it possible to move away from fossil fuels and to avoid local emissions. They are increasingly used for private use in cars, bicycles and other two-wheelers. For local logistics, local passenger transport and in particular transport of freight over long distances, electric mobility based on batteries faces significant restrictions.

Only hydrogen-based mobility concepts can guarantee full flexibility and long operating times for commercial transports. Fueling can be done within a very short time, eliminating range as a restriction. Hydrogen-powered fuel cell vehicles thus offer the benefits of electromobility without relying on large battery capacities.

The necessary technologies for hydrogen-based mobility and the associated fuel infrastructure are mature, proven and can be operated safely in continuous use.
